8th Day Headlines Food Festival

The Scranton Cultural Center was filled to capacity for the Jewish Food Festival put on by Chabad of the Abingtons, led by Rabbi Benny Rapoport. The event is instrumental in bringing Kosher and Jewish awareness to the area, and promoting local Kosher food companies. Peggy’s Wing Sauce, Posh Restaurant, and Riccardo’s Kosher Deli were all well represented and supplied all sorts of tasty dishes for everyone to enjoy. Along with all the delicious food, the audience was treated to an 8th Day concert with brothers Bentzi and Shmuel Marcus singing and entertaining as the audience clapped and cheered along although most in attendance had never been to a Jewish concert before.
