Uri Adler – Atah
Two years ago, was the 200th anniversary of the death of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev zichrono l’vracha, who was known for finding good in each person. At that time caught Uri Adler found himself in one of the shuls in Yerushalayim, studying the sefarim, when an old crumbling book/sefer caught his eye. His curiosity grew when he discovered the sefer was full of sayings of the great tzadikim of earlier generations. One such saying that seemed simple but penetrating to the heart and soul was from Rabbi Levi Yitzchak, it is also what he used to sing: “B’Asher Eilech- Atah, B’Asher A’amod-Atah, shuv atah, rak atah, tamid atah “.
These words, that speak to anyone of us captured Adler’s heart. Musical production processing that was simple, but ingenious – joined them later. The single was to be released officially in full album by Adler and is expected to reach stores in iy”h on Tu B’Shvat.
The New album will contain original Jewish music with ethnic touches and a little rock, influenced by a variety of styles, including that of Breslov, of course, but also from Tel Aviv where he grew up. Proceeds from the album will go to an organization that helps in Eilat and related ventures.
