Avi Gassner Releases New Single “Kol Tzahala”

Avi Gassner (56) lives in Kfar Saba, is a pension insurance agent by profession, but in the last decade made an interesting cultural switch. Preoccupation with poetry, voice and learning Jewish culture, led Gassner to focus his few leisure activities into a packed day. His hobby of poetry and the like for the last two years, has created an impressive music album. His singing ability and his understanding of the field are no longer just a hobby.

Now, for the release of the debut album “Or”, is an anticipated single. The first single, “Kol Tzahala” does not sound like the familiar style of his songs (Ani Ma’amin and the like), which showcased him as an artist style associated with serious conservative music. Kol Tzahala is a song of prayer and with a joyful bounce, to attract his listeners to connect to the holy words that are appropriate to any person world, regardless of their proximity to Judaism.

The album is a range of musical styles and rhythms, “I appeal to all people,” says Gassner, “Therefore, to allow the public to connect to my songs, I made them to fit all types”.
