Presenting: Umein Vumein – Vocal Edition
The widely popular Umein Vumein album which was released about a year ago will now be available to listen to during sefira and the 3 weeks. That’s right! The album is now available as a vocal version produced by Yossi Rubin (Yeol Falkowitz & Leibidig In Meah Shearim). The idea of the album to begin with was that of a private individual who benefited greatly from answering “Amein” out loud in shul and stayed until the end of davening. The original album featured well known songs with NEW Yiddish grammen style lyrics. All the songs are about “Umein/Amein” and were sung by some of the best and brightest in the business. While the original album included music by the Aaron Teitelbaum orchestra and arrangements by maestro Yisroel Lamm the vocal version includes vocal arrangements by the talented Zevi Fried of Shira Choir and up and coming composer/arranger Yoely Dickman. This album as well stars these multi talented vocalists including; Shragi Gestetner, Yonoson Schwartz, Moshe Weintraub, Levi Falkowitz, Shmuel Freidman, Moshe Eisenbach, Menachem Moskowitz, Yoely Falkowitz and the Shira Choir with yeled hapella, Yehoshua Aryeh Mandel. In addition World Renown composer and badchan Moti Illowitz has added his voice to this amazing project.
The album is available through Nigun Dist. and in stores today. For more information on the Umein Vumein projects please visit www.umeinvumein.org.
