Shirei Pinchas: Ani Maamin – Yoely Greenfeld

Shirei Pinchas: Ani Maamin – Yoely Greenfeld

Shirei Pinchas is now available in stores! Enjoy the early favorite, the much talked about Ani Maamin. Sung by the amazing Yoely Greenfeld.

A special note about Ani Maamin by Reb Pinchas Wolf, the composer of Ani Maamin and the other 10 songs featuring on Shirei Pinchas.

For a long time I had in my mind to compose a song to memorialize the 6 million, השם קידוש על שנהרגו קדושים. I wondered what kind of song and what words, can I use that would do this task justice. After months of different thoughts going through my mind it hit me that Ani Maamin would be the most appropriate of words. I visualized 6 million kedoyshim marching to the crematoriums and I began to sing Ani Maamin. When I started singing it I felt that the Niggun is right for this. I grabbed my small tape recorder and started the Niggun that came to my head and recorded it so that I wont forget what I did. Here it is! We shall never forget their Neshomes. זיי זאלן זיין גוטע בעטער פאר גאנץ כלל ישראל

Joining Wolf in his musical odyssey and giving voice to his compositions are several prominent Jewish music stars including Benny Friedman, Dovid Gabay, Shimmy Engel, Yoely Greenfield, Shlomo Simcha and Mordechai Shapiro as well as child star soloist, Shimmy Weberman.

Shirei Pinchas
