The Evolution of Jewish Music – Benny Friedman and Meir Kay

Presenting a brand new video, paying tribute to the history of Jewish Music. Some we grew up with, some our parents told us about, and some that we get our children into. A generational link between eras! As Jewish music continues to evolve, this video is meant to take observation of those changes, with a little humor and respect, and a lot of love.

The project came together in the days following the Ivri Anochi music video, by Benny Friedman, Meir Kay and Sruly Meyer. Joining together to create a tribute to all that came before what they had just completed. Inspired by this passion project, working simply for the videos greater end. Joined by Mendy Lenorovich of On Time Studios, who brought his amazing and creative talents along with his his fully equipped studio to piece together visual after visual. Avremi Berko tastefully arranged the medley featuring the songs that would make up this medley of Jewish music history, supplied with brass by Danny Flam‘s New York Brass. The video was additional sponsored by Bison & Bourbon who kept the crew fed during production and lifted our spirits!
