Ma Betsa – Sendy Oppman – Shir V’shevach Boys Choir
Sendy Oppman spent many years learning vocal training as a hobby of sorts, but eventually it turned into a profession and now he himself is a vocal teacher. His vocal teacher encouraged him to become a proper singer, which was difficult for him at first but slowly he saw that it was something he should do. One of Sendy‘s students introduced him to composer R’ Yitzchak Feder, who sent Sendy the song Ma Betsa. Udi Damari arranged the song for Sendy, which has children’s choir vocals by the Shir V’Shevach boys choir. The song was supposed to be released much later, but due to the terrible desecration of the shul in Yerushalayim last week, Sendy wanted to express his pain over that tragedy and is releasing this song to commemorate that.
