Marbin BeSimcha: Shuvi Nafshi – The Yeshivishe Album From The Nismecha Band
In the past two years, the Nismecha band performed in nearly 300 weddings and events and garnered over a million views on their YouTube channel, as well as 600 thousand on their Facebook page. The great success of the establishers of the band Shmuel Recanti and Moshe Avron, stemmed from a need in the wedding circuit for an authentic sounding Yeshivish environment with young and current arrangements and productions.
The desire to bring about a major change in the culture, even outside of the wedding halls, motivated the band to produce a few clips, which are not necessarily wedding songs, such as Hatov Hatov, Ahallela, and others, which received hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. The warm reception encouraged them to take the next step and record their sound into a studio album.
After many long months of intensive work the debut album of Nismecha is finally being released, called Shuvi Nafshi. The heart of the album is the Yeshivish Medley, with new and exciting arrangements. There are also special medleys of niggunim on the album as well.
There are also special features on this album. Aaron Razel is a guest on the title track Shuvi Nafshi, Yitzchak Meir is featured on the song Lefikach, and more.
