From France With Love: Avraham David Believes You Can Stop Anti-Semitism With His New Single/Video
At a time when anti-Semitism is raising its head around the world, French singer Avraham David, decides on a creative way to combat the phenomenon and to increase love and sympathy among the circles of the chosen people. “If we are united, the nations of the world will not be able to overcome us, the solution to anti-Semitism is unity.”
As always, he does it originally and today he releases a beautiful clip that was shot in twenty sites throughout Israel and conveys the message and feeling of the right to be Jewish because “Yehudi Ze Hachi” no matter what stream you belong to.
I am happy to release the music video to some of the leading media outlets in France who understood that in view of the anti-Semitic atmosphere, we must increase our love and brotherhood and reduce the level of hatred and negative discourse towards Israel and the Jewish people.”
In the video, a Breslov Chassid is accompanied by an Ethiopian immigrant, fueling alongside a bus driver, a child alongside an adult, secular and religious. Together we create a magical mosaic of Israeliness and Zionism at a jittery pace. The work on the video continued for eight consecutive months and after the result did not satisfy Avraham David‘s desire the clip was filmed all over again …
The song was written and composed by Udi Damari.
