The famous baal menagen from Viznitz Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda (Yanky) Daskal and the baal menagen Mendy Goldberg warmly performs the Viznitz song “Ve’yiyu Rachamecho”, with a special addition of Yiddish rhymes describing the current situation in which tens of thousands want to mark the yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon at his Kever and can’t this year.
In light of the situation we are in and after much consultation, the Rabonim of Lithuania approved to hear the song during Sefira to uplift and delight the hearts.
