Isaac & Rubenstein – Eyes Glazed Up

Isaac & Rubenstein’s apt new single ‘Eyes Glazed Up’ (ובנה ירושלים) is released in anticipation of the forthcoming three weeks of mourning for the destruction of the Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) and all that followed in the wake of the Jewish exile. More than two thousand years later, we are still longing for it to be rebuilt speedily in our time. “Your streets are so lonely, Your house is still empty”.

‘Eyes Glazed Up’ is a song of yearning dedicated to the relationship between Jerusalem and the Shechinah (Divine presence) and evokes our deep desire to be re-connected to our creator and His holy city.

Isaac & Rubenstein
have a unique and big sound for a small three-piece line-up, bringing Jewish music back to its roots, with live instruments and an authentic yet fresh Jewish sound.
