Yoeli Doppelt Presents His Debut Album “Shiru Shiru”

Yoeli lives in Boro Park with his family where he is on staff at the Chaburah of Brooklyn (Chaburah.org) and operates his construction waste business, Gold Industriez.

Yoeli and his family lived in Yerushalayim for 15 years. He was a popular Rebbe at Kesher, while at the same time was the founder and owner of Yoeli’s Catering & Takeout near the Mir in Beis Yisroel. Many of you who learned in Eretz Yisroel between 2002 and 2016 have probably eaten at Yoeli’s open-to-the-public Shabbos table in the Shmuel Hanavi neighborhood.

Somehow, he finds time to sit at the piano every day. His passion for music is evident in his debut album produced by Yochi Briskman and arranged by Moshe Laufer.

Titled “Shiru Shiru”, you will find a dynamic selection of heartfelt compositions by Yoeli, that tend to touch the listener’s soul in a calming yet thought-provoking way. When listening to his beautiful voice singing his own songs, you will sense his connection to the words that inspired that particular composition.

For many years, he played the saxophone with bands that he put together for Chessed events only, but he has always loved to write song melodies and lyrics. This is his first step in sharing his songs with the larger community. In a world of pop and trance music, Yoeli brings us to a different place, where it is hartzig, soul stirring, and reflective.
