Od Yosef Chai – Yaakov Shwekey & Yonatan Razel In A New Song In Memory of Maran

In preparation for the 11th anniversary of the death of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef ZTL, Yaakov Shwekey and Yonatan Razel are releasing a new song called ‘Od Yosef Chai‘. The song was written by Shuli Rand, and composed by Yonatan Razel and Shuli Rand. The song is released as part of the ‘Yosef Aleichem‘ events. which will take place next week in the nation’s buildings during the days of revelry.

In the days of heavy national mourning and immense pain, the absence of Maren Zatzel is felt more than ever. The moving lyrics of the song alongside a rare collection of photos in the clip that accompanies the song sharpens the burning longing for the figure of majesty who showered Torah and love on all the people of Israel.

As mentioned, the song is released as part of the ‘Yosef Aleichem‘ events that will take place in the nation’s buildings on Monday and Tuesday next week, Tuesday and Wednesday in Hashvan. During the events, the participants will be able to experience a series of unique exhibits and complexes from Maran’s work, teachings and legacy. The highlight of the event will be a special performance in which Yaakov Shwekey and Yonatan Razel will perform the song ‘Od Yosef Chai‘ for the first time.
