Producing his first album since his smash hit production Avodas Tzedaka, Shloime Kaufman is at it again bringing a fresh sound to Jewish music this time in a strictly producing roll. The project is called “MUSIC Language of the Soul”, with songs composed and performed by his cousin Zevi Kaufman. Zevi has been singing and writing since the age of 10 as a member of the Miami Boys choir and later being featured on EMES 1. The 10 song album, 8 of which were written and composed by Zevi himself 4 of them original English songs the other 2 written by his father Meir Kaufman, himself an accomplished singer as the star soloist for the S’dei Chemed choir in the 60’s and 70’s. The arrangements for the album are very diverse using the talents of the fresh Ruli Ezrachi and Ian Fraitor, the world renowned producer Tony Coluccio, the red hot Aryeh Kunstler as well as the legendary Yisroel Lamm and Shloime Kaufman too. The backup vocals are performed by Aryeh Kunstler and Shloime Kaufman, with guest appearances by Zevi’s father, Meir, his brother Yechiel and Shloime Kaufman himself. Hard to find today a performer who writes and performs his own material on their album, however Zevi is a very unique talent as you will definitely realize in the coming weeks. As of this article the mixes are almost complete and we expect to hear some sneak peeks very soon. The album should be in stores next week. Till then enjoy the FIRST LISTEN to the music from the album.
