Ariel Borzutzky With A New Single “Yidiat Haemet”
“Yidiat Haemet is a song I wrote after studying the Sefer Derech Etz Hachaim of the Ramchal”, says singer and songwriter Ariel Borzutzky.
In it, I found breathtaking phrases such as that HaShem created man, “ready to understand and grasp knowledge more than the malachim.” HaShem will grant man, when he desires wisdom, to reach “up to the higher heavens, knowledge that Hashem hid a long time ago…” And the most important of all, that “knowing the truth strengthens the soul and pushes away the yetzer hara for sure… and if this knowledge would be clear to man, he would never fall in sin.”
The Ramchal teaches us that this truth is already within the heart and soul of every man. However, in order to reveal it, we have to stop, meditate, and ask ourselves questions, such as: “What am I? Why did I come to this world? What did the Avos, our forefathers, do that HaShem wanted to be close to them?”
All these concepts really had an impact on me in a strong way. In order for me to internalize these concepts and share them with other Yidden, I chose to write this song.
We all have to know that it doesn’t have to depend on the level of a person’s intelligence to know the Creator and the truth of creation and life. We all have the power to reach the Creator and understand what He wants from us. We just have to open our hearts and the key…is in our hands.
This song is Ariel Borzutzky’s third single to date. For those music aficionados who have grown to love the stylistic melodies and lyrics of Ishay Ribo, Akiva, Assaf Haroush, and the like, will be sure to appreciate this newer artist.
