Gabriel Tumbak Releases New Single “Keshem”

In the last year or so a new singer from France has been making quiet a splash in the JM world. His name, Gabriel Tumbak. In February 2014 Tumbak released his debut single Kol Haneshama produced by Avi Newmark. Since then he has released two covers one of Eyal Golan’s Malchei Hamelachim and another of Shlomi Shabbat’s Bereshit Olam, both garnered huge response by fans across the globe and lets them clamoring for more.

The time has come for Gabriel to release a new single. This new song “Keshem Sheani” has lyrics from Birkat Halevana. In this tefilla we daven to Hashem that the Yetzer Hara and Ayin Hara should stay away from us as well as Am Yisrael’s enemies, just as the moon is out of reach when we are trying to grab it during brikat Halevana.

This song is very special to Tumbak because it’s his first full production and it was composed his his close friend, composer Michael Saura. It is Gabriel’s hope with this song to bring a brand new sound to the Jewish music world, and I believe he did just that.

Tumbak would like to give special thanks to his wife for supporting all of the time he spent in the studio working and away from his family. He also wants to thank all his family and people who have been sending him messages to support his project.
