Gad Elbaz, one of the leading Jewish Music superstar, launches this morning a new and exciting single – “Adon Haselicot” (The Lord of Forgiveness).
The days of Slichot and compassion open the gates of the heaven and our hearts, and so does the soulful singer Gad Elbaz (37) with his new touching single – “Adon Haselichot.”
Over the past twenty years, Elbaz has been working actively and performing non-stop in Israel and in Jewish communities around the world, releasing dozens of singles that garnered tens of millions of views, including his successful collaboration with the rapper “Subliminal” in the song “Hakol Milemala” and the successful single “Hashem Melech” performed by the international rapper “Nissim“.
In his songs Elbaz tends to combine calm ballads, authentic rhythms and modern pop-rock immersed in thrilling middle eastern flare.
Today, Elbaz is considered one of the most successful and influential Israeli pop singers in the world, with over 75,000 members on his YouTube channel and almost 100 million total page views. Elbaz is currently working on a new and intriguing new album in collaboration with creator Rudy Perez, who produces, among other things, some of the greatest international singers such as Jennifer Lopez and others.
On a personal note Elbaz says:”The month of Elul is a very special month for me because this is the month I was born. I always wanted to create a song about this period and my connection to it. I sat in the studio and played the guitar to myself; Ori Shachiv heard the tune from the other room and started to hum the song along with me. He then asked me to write the lyrics to the song and of course I agreed. As soon as Uri recorded the lyrics, I realized that everything was intentional and there is no coincidence in this world. Thru our collaboration emerged a real sincere song that I am sure when you hear it you too will be able to connect to your inner truth”.
