JM365 – APRIL: ALL STARS/ALL YEAR/ALL YOURS
There’s calendars for lovers of everything from Autos to Zebras…everything that is except Jewish Music. Think about it, why can’t Jewish Music fans have a calendar with 12 months of top stars to enjoy? Well as we couldn’t think of a reason either, we decided to do something about it–and what better time to start than the start of 2011? (well actually the start of 5772 would be better, but why wait 8 more months?)
So please join us in welcoming (and enjoying) JM/365 the calendar created especially for lovers of Jewish music…and those who love seeing them smile. Its 12 months of everybody’s favorite stars just a click and download away–then ready for printing and displaying on your wall, desk or as a screen saver!
This month, in honor of Pesach–and the fact the Seder ends with L’shana Habo Byerushalyim we’re featuring the Diaspora Yeshiva Band…the most groundbreaking band the Jewish music world was ever privileged to call its own. Despite the meaning of their name “Diaspora” was a fixture in Yerushalayim, and for many, part of the reason it was the destination is was. Here’s hoping that by next month we’re all reunited (in the K’lal sense…tho a DYB reunion would be nice as well) and the ONLY meaning associated with Diaspora is a musical one. Special thanks to Ruby Harris who supplied us with many amazing photographs.
What better place to bring in all together than Jewish Insights/The Z Report and JM/365! To see not such a “poshiter yid” next month, make sure to make a date with JM/365.
