Noam Michael – Zman Techeilet

Noam Michael – Zman Techeilet

Noam Michael‘s debut album was released two years ago, and many wondered when he would release a new single off his upcoming second album. Now it’s happening with “Zman Techeilet“, produced by Guy Veahal. “There is something blue that can be deceiving: you can relax in it, lose it, become addicted to it, or grow from it – and that’s how I feel a lot of times …”.

“This is a song that really describes my married friends and me, my best friends,” says Michael. “Once a month, we meet at Palmachim Beach for a nice evening, and the friends leave their wives and children in the house, and I do not have to leave anyone behind, and our conversations have changed over the years, and now there are many conversations about family, children and kindergartens. I admit that I have the conflict in me if I continue to get to these meetings because these subjects of conversation are less talkative to me, but on the other side it is a group that I grew up with and into, there is always the comparison between us and sometimes I see my empty glass half and their grass is greener. “It speaks of the aspiration that the light will soon rise and things will look different.

Since the release of his debut album two years ago, Noam has not released any new material. ‘Zman Techeilet‘ is actually his first song, in which he is also involved in writing and composing (with Yehoshua Limoni) and in the musical production of Guy and Yehel the talented ones. “A lot of courage and many transformations were required to make me feel ripe to take out this special song”

Azure is undoubtedly the most personal and exposed song written by Noam Michael until now. It deals with fears and anxieties, a sense of belonging and loneliness, envy and cautious optimism.
