Shloime Kaufman Releases New Acapella Album “Vocally Yours”

If you have been to a wedding of concert in the last 15 years, chances are you have heard Shloime Kaufman. Whether it was leading choir at a HASC concert or backing up such stars like Avraham Fried, Shloime has been around the block He has performed on some of the biggest stages including; Madison Square Garden, Avery Fisher Hall, Brooklyn School of Music and both Brooklyn and Queens College.

Over the years Shloime has worn many hats, producer, choir leader and guest vocalist and more. Some of the album’s he has been featured on include; Avodas Tzedakah, EMES vol. 1 & 2, A.K.A. Pella, HASC, A Gut Yohr and many more.

Recently, Shloime stepped away from producing to concentrate on his solo career. The last two years has seen an explosion of wedding videos featuring Kaufman alongside bands like Blue Melody, Evan Al, Nafshenu, Shloime Dachs and more.

While working on his newest album, Shloime took some time off to work on his special project, an acapella album for the three weeks. This album is not your typical sefira album. Shloime took some of the biggest hits throw-out the years going back as far as the beginning of Avraham Fried and MBD’s careers to some new material from artists like 8th Day, Yedidim Choir and Boruch Shlomo. “This album turned out not quite like I expected” tells Kaufman. “What started out as a small album on a small scale, blossomed into a well-rounded album with many song styles from a wide array of artists.”

Shloime Kaufman – Vocally Yours was directed and engineered by the talented Ruli Ezrachi at his studio in Brooklyn, and features all vocal sounds and arrangements by Shloime himself. The album will be available exclusively on Shloime’s new website www.shloimekaufman.com and be available on iTunes, Amazon Music and Google Play in the next few days.
