Shloime Kaufman Releases Acapella Cover of Mordechai Shapiro’s “LI”
His voice has been a part of Jewish music for over 15 years. Whether you have heard him as part of the HASC concert choir, backup vocals on a popular song, or as a solo artist, singer Shloime Kaufman has defiantly left his mark on Jewish music.
Two years ago he embarked on a new part of Jewish music.. ACAPELLA. Though he has been a featured vocalist on many A. K. A. Pella albums, his 2016 release Vocally Yours was his first foray as vocalist, arranger and vocal producer. The album, originally released in digital format on iTunes etc., was re-released last year in physical form due to its popularity and distributed by MRM Music.
That response, prompted Shloime to add a poll to his social media last week asking fans what song they wanted him to cover in acapella. The result was in favor of the Mordechai Shapiro hit song Li composed by the talented Yitzy Waldner off Mordechai’s recent album Machar.
Now Shloime is proud to present Li acapella!
Arranged, recorded, and produced by Mordy Weinstein and Craig Resmovits at MaxMord Productions
