After he released his debut single “Yehei Chasdecho”, Shmulik Yeshurun returns with his second single “Retzei”. Retzei has the atmosphere of the yomim tovim and is a tefilla to hashem to hear our tefillos.
Yeshurun’s musical life began at the tender age of five when he joined the Pirchei Tel Aviv by Chanan Bar Sela. Since then Yeshurun has finish his cantorial studies and is a graduate of the Tel Aviv Cantorial Institute, which is under the direction of the global Cantor Naftoli Herstik. Besides being a singer with a rare and impressive vocal abilities, Shmulik is also blessed with good musical sense and composes and arranges some of his own vocal tracks. Proof of this is that during sferia he released a acapella track of the song “Bamarom[1]” and the hit song “Orot”. When not in the studio working on his album, Yeshurun appears at various events such as weddings, Bar Mitzvah’s etc.
Its important to emphasize that despite his cantorial background, Shmulik style is demanding but lighter and more appealing to all audiences, young and adults alike. This NEW single also features arrangements by the well-known Hasidic composer/arranger Moshe Laufer.
