Something went wrong with the connection!

Tal Vaknin & DJ Niv Edri – Yerushalayim Shel Zahav 2.0

Tal Vaknin & DJ Niv Edri – Yerushalayim Shel Zahav 2.0

The song “Yerushalayim Shel Zahav” became a national consensus almost from birth. Like the flag of the State of Israel. At the same time it was never distributed in the dance version. Thus was born the extraordinary collaboration between international singer and composer Tal Vaknin and musician DJ Niv Edri. At a time when there is a fear of waving the Israeli flag, we painted the sky of Jerusalem with a blue and white lighted flag. In the background are the voices of thousands of people who sing “Yerushalayim Shel Zahav” together because “the people of eternity are not afraid of a long road.”

The video was shot throughout the Old City and in front of the Western Wall. To strengthen the Jews of Israel and the Diaspora proudly and with their heads held high in eternal Jewish poetry for the people of Israel and Jerusalem celebrating 55 years of liberation along with thousands of years of existence.

Watch and enjoy the video from the upcoming joint Jewish dance show, hosted by international singer Tal Vaknin, and the musician DJ Niv Edri.

For years, Tal Vaknin has dominated the countries of the world and has been considered for over a decade the required Jewish singer in concerts, Jewish festivals and prestigious events around the world. Only recently has Tal performed on a successful tour around the world. In Marbella and South America and thereafter he took the stage at Central Park in New York – in a salute show there, Over 20,000 people participated. Vaknin was the first Jewish artist to perform at the Expo in Dubai in front of the royal family. And was a guest on the show of legendary French singer Gilbert Montania.
Among other things, Tal has collaborated on various musical projects and performed with a list of leading artists, including: Andrea Bocelli, Gilbert Montania, Gad Elbaz, Yossi Azoulay, Kobi Aflalo, Yaakov Shwekey, Yishai Lapidot, and many more.

DJ Niv Edri.
Niv is a star in the world of events in Israel and has already signed on for several tours around the world, Niv brings special energy to every thing he surpasses and receives a special grace to make thousands of people dance every night.

Tal says “Every holiday is special. But I have a special connection to Yom Yerusholayim. I “as a child of Jerusalem” get to celebrate the holiday and appreciate my Jerusalem every day. At the market stalls that were a childish landscape. In the city streets I spent my youth. In the alleys of the old city where I got to perform for the first time in my childhood, and accompany brides and grooms in the special places for these moments between the walls. In the sounds of synagogues emanating from every corner. And in the diverse culture that my city has. This culture that shaped my personality. I am so proud to travel around the world and see how much love there is for Jerusalem, for the air, for the sacred, for the light, for the alleys for the fragrances and the sounds. When asked about performances around the world, where am I from? I’m honestly excited to say I, I’m from Israel, from Jerusalem. As part of this super-temporary connection between me and my Jerusalem, I have been privileged many times to sing to Jerusalem. But I have never released the song that so symbolizes my city “Yerushalayim Shel Zahav” in a rhythm that will make people sing and be proud of this gift called Jerusalem. Be proud of our Judaism. In this strong desire to bring the power of Jerusalem and the people of Israel,I chose to host one of the most talented young musicians we have in Israel.”
