Ten Photographers, Five Albums & One Adon Olam:  Tzudik Sings Widerker in Spectacular New Clip

World-famous chazzan and master baal tefillah Tzudik Greenwald stars in a brand-new music video featuring Meir Martin Widerker’s stirring melodies. A winning team of over ten videographers and photographers contribute to film the clip against the magical backdrop of Israel’s mountains and deserts.The hit song from Yisroel Werdyger‘s new album that was released this past winter.

Two years after releasing Hamavdil, a rousing music video of Meir Martin Widerker’s beloved Shabbos melodies, celebrated chazzan and baal tefillah Tzudik Greenwald joins forces again with the composer to create another hit single of Widerker’s latest piece Adon Olam.

While the musical soundtrack boasts a full-scale orchestra, producer Yoni Tzur chose to spotlight the wonders of creation that best illustrate the lyrics of this timeless song. To create this masterpiece, Tzur assembled a crew of winning photographers to collectively capture the beauty and essence of the song on film.

Adon Olam is the 36th melody by composer Meir Martin Widerker and joins his beloved Shabbos Hamalka Collection. Three of the series’ five albums have already been released, sung by the world’s most popular Chassidic vocalists and musical artists.

Among the cantors who’ve sung for Widerker’s Shabbos Hamalka Collection are Tzudik Greenwald, Yaakov Yitzchak Rosefeld, Yitzchak Meir Helfgott, Yankele Rotner, Avremi Roth, Avraham Fried, Yitzchak Meir and Eli Herzlich.

Musical and vocal arrangements were led by Menachem Bristowsky who also plays the piano and keyboard. Drummer Avi Avidani, guitarist Avi Singolda and bass guitarist Aryeh Berkowitz join Dor Asraf on the saxophone, Eddy Meiri and his band on the trumpets and Shai Dagan on his trombone.

Complementing the vocal harmonies is Yisrael Bergman’s choir, along with Menachem Bristowsky, Gil Yisraelov and Moti Rotler.

Adon Olam features a record number of photographers among them Yoni Tzur, Dima Yaroshevsky, Eli Sadeh, Shalom Gilbert, Moshe Zaguri, Yoni Pasha, Nachshon Philipson, Yossi Weiss, Yossi Benshimol, Shimon Katz, Yossi Perlman, Yechiel Sadeh, Dudu Segev, Ahrale Zand and others.
