Tzemed Yeled Covers Omer Adam – Modeh Ani

After racking up over 800,000 views on their Youtube channel for the video “Matanot Ketanot[1],” the popular Israeli duo Tzemed Yeled proved that they can move music fans with hit covers of songs originally performed by Israeli adult singers.

Being that “Tzemed Yeled” is the most successful children’s ensembles in Israel today, the duo is back again, this time with an exciting and original performance which combines classical and electronic music. The song, “Modeh Ani” originally released by Omer Adam. For this composition the producers wanted to release a boyish version of the song infused with emotion enabling it to cross over the boundaries of Judasim.

This renewed version features poet Effie Daviov of Jerusalem, who helps bringing authenticity to the Liturgist song which has lyrics taken from the prayer of Sephardic synagogues.

The location for the “Modeh Ani” video shoot was the Old Tel Aviv Synagogue called the “beautiful synagogue in Tel Aviv,” and is considered one of the most magnificent buildings, which was built at the beginning of Jewish settlement in Tel Aviv.
