Yisrael Stern Presents: Shir HaYeshuot Shel Rosh Yeshiva – Shivti!
One of the most important Roshei yeshiva in Israel, sat and studied various matters about the mikdash, and came across the words of the Baal Shem Tov that says, “מקום שאדם חושב שם הוא”
This point also reminded him of the words of the Shulchan Aruch, which ruled that during prayer a person must think that he is in the Beis Hamikdash, and that it is fitting for him to draw the name of the name before him. This is also what King David says: “שבתי בבית ה’ כל ימי חיי” Because that is where Hashem is always there before him.
In addition, it is stated in the sefarim, that if a person wants to be saved from Midas Hadin, should strengthen his Midas Bitachon, he will paint for himself as if he were standing in a holy place called the Heichal Hachessed.
The Rosh Yeshiva studied these three points carefully, and during the course of his study, the thought flashed through him that they were one and the person who kept “שבתי בבית ה” and drew the name of the Lord before his eyes, he would soon find himself in the Temple and Learning security.
From the composition of the words came a special inspiration for a charming melody, which includes the three points in his words. When the performance was performed for “Shivti“, producer Yisrael Stern enlisted Cantor Yaakov Motzen, with the arranger and pianist Menachem Bristowsky.
Stern says that this is the first taste of additional productions and songs that will soon be released by the Rosh Yeshivah. Shivti was chosen to go out during this period, from Sh’min on the Shekalim, in order to encourage God’s grace and trust in the people of Israel.
Want salvation? Listen to the song and imagine that you are in the temple by the lamp, it works!
