He took the Jewish music world by storm with his first three albums and with his latest release Avorcho , Yisroel Werdyger has firmly cemented his place as a member of the musical elite with a masterful production that is fresh and exciting while still strongly grounded by yiddishe taam.
Werdyger worked hand in hand with the renowned production team of Gershy Moskowitz and Yossi Tyberg, searching worldwide for compositions that were a cut above, music that would touch the heart and leave listeners feeling inspired. Considerable time and expense were invested in every song in order to imbue each one with a richness of sound and a fullness that would make Avorcho not just a collection of compositions but an uplifting musical experience, polished to perfection by arranger Shua Fried. Two years in the making, Avorcho features eleven new songs from a wide array of talented composers including Pinky Weber, rising star Yaakov Yosef Buksbaum, Yitzy Waldner, Motti Ilowitz, Meir Adler, Yanky Daskal and Reb Shlomo Carlebach a’h.
