Yoely Greenfeld & The Kolos Choir – Shma Bni

The last few years has seen an explosion of new choirs across the globe. These choirs perform at anything from dinners to weddings to Shabbosim. One such choir has in the short span of one year already made a name for themselves as a premiere group. Their name, Kolos Choir is lead by the talented Avrum Shaya Gershtnkorn.

Choirs and Gershtnkorn are inseparable. As a bochur in yeshivah, he led the “kapela” choirs for all yom tov and Shabbos davening. A year ago, the Kolos Choir was originated. While the choir just completed their “shana rishona,” they have already performed at numerous simchas and shabbosim with some of the top names in Jewish music including; Yoely Greenfeld, Isaac Honig, Sruly Werdyger, Shragee Gestetner, Shimmy Engel, Mendy Werdyger, Yissoschor Gutman, and Tzvika Silberberg. Kolos consists of over twenty members, each with his own flavor and talent giving this choir a wide range and unique sound. Their voices come together to create a unique harmonious sound that can only be described as “Kolos.”

Just a few weeks ago, Kolos performed at a simcha the MBD mega hit Shma B’ni composed by the talented Yossi Green. They were joined by one of today’s biggest voices, Yoely Greenfeld. The result is the above video. Please enjoy the melodious voices of Kolos with soloist Yoely Greenfeld.
