Yossi Gil’s 39th Birthday Surprise: Including Specially Brochos From 39 Jewish Music Artists

Major radio personality Yossi Gil just celebrated his 39th birthday, and some of the major Chassidic musical personalities such as MBD, Avraham Fried, Lipa, and Isaac Honig wished sent him recorded happy birthday messages, which were compiled into a musical production.

Yossi Gil, who is well-known to the community for his involvement in the Chassidic music world, became popular about 18 years ago on the radio show called Kol Simcha, and since then has recorded 1000’s of programs and has invited hundreds of singers on his radio shows. He has hosted on Arutz 7, Kol Chai, and now for Kol Berama. Gil enjoys his deep connections with some of the leaders of Chassidic Genre, including singers, composers, and arrangers. Mona Rosenblum even once said that whenever he wants to know something about himself, he checks first with Yossi.
