Yumi Lowy: Ahavas Hashem
Yumi Lowy’s debut album is almost here! Yumi has been a huge name in the wedding scene for some time now. This is one of the most anticipated releases of the last few years. His exciting vocal style and attention to detail shines through in this monument to musical creativity. It’s a different blend of songs that will cater to different crowds. The CD is produced by the extremely talented Naftali Schintzler.
The ten track album features three songs, including the title, Ahavas Hashem, by Yossi Green, two songs composed by R’ Pinky Weber, additional songs composed by a wide variety of some of the best including, Eli Laufer, Ruli Ezrachi, Moshe Werzberger, Motti Illowitz & R’ Binyomin Hershkowitz.
Arrangements on Ahavas Hashem were done by Moshe Laufer, Mona Rosenblum, Ruli Rzrachi, Eli Laufer, Leib Yaakov Rigler, Eli Lishinsky and Yisroel Lamm. Part of the different blending of styles comes from choirs conducted by multiple arrangers, such as Dudi Kalish, Moshe Roth, Mona Rosenblum, Yoely Horowitz & Moshe Krauss.

I’m confused, Yossi; isn’t this the same Yumi who put out “Torah Harbeh” back in ’04?
